University of North Dakota Spirit Squads

The Cheer, Dance, Hockey Cheer and Mascot teams are non-varsity coed squads with a primary focus on sideline and gameday performances for North Dakota Athletics. The Spirit Squad programs are under the UND Athletic umbrella, however they are not an NCAA sanctioned Sport. The programs will perform at Athletic Department events, University events, and community events.

These teams add to the energetic atmosphere at all home football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball and hockey games by engaging the crowd,
performing and cheering on the Fighting Hawks. They are made up of dedicated members who positively
represent UND’s Division 1 Athletics program and their sport both in and out of uniform.
